Drainage System
Your drainage system is an integral part of your home. When Vancouver is immersed in its drizzly winter cloak, the last thing you want to worry about is water getting into your cozy home.

Sanitary Sewer
Your sanitary sewer system is responsible for carrying all grey water out to the municipal main line from your house. This line most often includes lines from toilets, showers, bathroom sinks, kitchen sinks, and laundry lines.

Waterline
A waterline supplies fresh water from the municipal water main to your home. These lines may degrade over time and spring a leak in any weakened areas. If you notice water bubbling or pooling in the lawn, you may have a waterline leak.

Mike Hartman
OWNER / PRESIDENT
Mike started working in the drainage business at a young age. Born and raised in North Vancouver, he worked for his father until leaving to venture out on his own at the age of 25. Equipped with an old pickup truck, a few hundred dollars in the bank, and a solid work ethic, Mike started Modern Drainage Ltd. in 1987. His vast experience in this unique business is key when it comes to effectively diagnosing issues and saving his customers money. Mike stands by his work and accepts nothing but the best quality from his employees, who are as dedicated to Modern Drainage as they are to Mike.

Dom Gendreau
GENERAL MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
Dom joined the Modern crew in October of 2004. He took his job seriously and soon became one of our lead men. Dom is now our General Manager and works alongside Mike. He has an impressive understanding of the business and gives our customers clear and honest diagnoses of their issues, with tailored plans for all repairs, no matter how big or small.
