Our Facility

Brighter Minds Child Care Centre is proud to be an accredited child care center in British Columbia, complying with the highest standards of excellence as mandated by Fraser Health Authority. We offer full-time and part-time programs for children aged 30 months to 5 years. We also offer Kinder Care for George Vanier Elementary School. We provide a safe, age and developmentally appropriate environment and curriculum for children. We make sure that our children are nurtured with love and care, while stimulating them to learn and grow. We prepare activities that will help them enhance their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. Our main goal is to support and respect each child to be life-long learners.


Our Philosophy

We strongly believe that children learn through play. The importance of play cannot be over-estimated in the development of young children. Our belief that play is essential to a child's well being guides all aspects of curriculum design and our approach to child care services. Play explores relationships between people, materials and the physical environment. In addition, it provides the space for the child to recognize themselves as competent learners. Our programs are created to ignite a child's passion for learning and prepare them for future success in school and in life. Learning basic skills will be accomplished through both structured activity and play experience in a safe and nurturing environment. We provide each child with attention and security to learn about life, educational skills, and to develop a healthy self-concept.


Our Staff

Our dynamic and diverse Child Development Staff are proportionally represented in our center, with professional trained and certified Child Development Assistants, Child Development Workers and Child Development Supervisors hold valid CPR and First Aid Certification. At Brighter Minds Child Care Centre, we take the safety and security of our children very seriously, and thus all of our Child Development Staff, management, operations personnel, interns and volunteers are required to present valid police clearance documentation prior to providing any primary care at the facility.
